The well-known SEPA model series now includes a new fan model with larger rotor blades.
Applications from the field of automation technology and telecommunication were the driving force behind extending the 60 mm model series with respect to higher air performance to now include a fan with a thickness of 25 mm.
Due to the 10 mm higher frame, SEPA was able to equip its new fan with larger rotor blades. With a nominal speed of 4.500 rpm, it supplies an air flow rate that is approx. 40% higher than previous slimmer models. The new fan has the renowned quality and service life and with its voltage of 24 VDC which is typical for automation technology, it has found its rightful place at SEPA EUROPE.
Further models with other speeds and different options e.g. PWM and pulse output will also be available in future. In order to meet the high service life demand of 70.000 h L10 and 350.000 h MTBF at 40 °C, the fan in its current version that operates with less than 2 W at normal rating is equipped with two high-quality ball bearings. This size is also available with IP-protection against environmental influences.
