With its AZ 7709 miniature PCB relay, ZETTLER electronics addresses the growing trend in the drive and control system sector towards offering inexpensive, yet reliable relays with NO / normally-open contacts.
Following an intensive development phase, ZETTLER electronics has succeeded in extending its miniature PCB relay series with the inexpensive, single-pole AZ 7709. Available as a normally-open relay (SPST) with contacts made of silver cadmium oxide (AgCdO) or silver tin oxide (AgSnO2), the AZ 7709 has a switching capability of 5A at 250VAC or 10A at 250VAC. With a specified ambient temperature range of between -40°C and +85°C, the dielectric strength lies at 4,000Vrms between coil and contact and 1,000Vrms between open contacts. Available are common nominal coil voltages from 3 to 48VDC with the standard coil, or from 3 to 24VDC with a sensitive coil and a pickup power of just 113mW. Sized at 18.9 mm x 10.7 mm x 15.7 mm (W x D x H), the relays are UL, CUR and TÜV approved.
The reliability of the AZ 7709 relay takes up on the longstanding results for the AZ 770 miniature PCB relay series.
The relays are suitable for use in applications for industrial control systems, as well as for heating and air conditioning systems.
