ZETTLER has expanded its power supply portfolio with the new ZPO40SXX00WN series — a 40 W PCB-mount AC/DC power supply designed for demanding industrial and energy applications. Featuring OVC III certification up to 2000 m, this compact module is ideal for permanently installed systems such as EV wallboxes.

High Performance and Flexible Integration

The ZPO40S series offers a wide input range of 85–305 VAC or 100–430 VDC and delivers up to 89 % typical efficiency. With 4200 VAC isolation and built-in EMI filtering, the series is designed for reliable operation in smart energy, building automation, and EV charging systems.

OVC III — Ideal for Fixed Installations

Compliant with EN IEC 61558, the ZPOS40 series provides OVC III rating up to 2000 m altitude and OVC II up to 5000 m according to EN IEC 62368. This makes the power supply particularly suited for hardwired applications without plugs — such as wallboxes, smart meters, or control cabinets.

Robust Protection and Compatibility

Fully compatible with competing types available on the market, the ZPO40SXX00WN includes integrated overcurrent, overvoltage, and short-circuit protection. It meets EN55032 Class B and EN55035 EMC requirements and offers a high MTBF of over 500,000 hours for long-term reliability.

ZETTLER Introduces APX05S Series – 5 W SIP Power Modules

ZETTLER expands its portfolio with the new APX05S series of compact, isolated 5 W power modules for AC/DC and DC/DC applications. These modules feature a wide input voltage range, high efficiency, and integrated protection functions. Three different form factors offer maximum flexibility and compatibility with common market-standard competitor modules.

Three Layouts for Different Design Requirements

The APX05S series is available in three mechanical form factors (–100, –200, and –300) to support both new designs and easy replacement in existing systems.

The –100 and –200 versions are mechanically and electrically identical, with the same pinout and PCB footprint. The main difference is height:

–100: standard height

–200: reduced height for low-profile and space-constrained applications

Both variants can be used as drop-in replacements without modifications to the PCB layout or circuitry.

The –300 version, however, features a different mechanical pin layout compared to the –100 and –200 versions. This variant is designed for compatibility with other established competitor modules on the market, allowing easy replacement in existing designs. Despite the different pin arrangement, the –300 version provides the same electrical performance, protection features, and safety specifications as the other APX05S modules.

ZETTLER launches AZEV400 High-Power Relay with 10 kA Short-Circuit Endurance for EV-Charging Applications

ZETTLER introduces the AZEV400, a powerful new 4-pole or 2-pole relay solution designed for AC EV-chargers in compliance with IEC 61851. The relay is characterized with high switching capacity, reinforced isolation, and certified short-circuit endurance of up to 10 kA making it ideal for demanding and safety-critical environments.

High Performance for Modern AC-Charging

The AZEV400 switches up to 50 A per contact at 480 VAC – or 80 A in parallel configuration – delivering reliable power control for Mode 2/3 EV chargers. Certified according to IEC 62955, IEC 61008-1, IEC 62752, and IEC 62052-11, the relay withstands short-circuit events up to 10 kA and inrush currents of 230 A, proven by TÜV testing.

Enhanced Safety through Mirror Contact and Wide Clearance

The AZEV400 includes an NC mirror contact (IEC 60947-4-1 / IEC 61810-3) for monitoring safety-relevant conditions. A ≥4.0 mm contact gap supports RCD applications per IEC 61008-1 (Type A). With surge withstand voltage up to 10 kV and dielectric strength of 5 kVRMS, it offers robust insulation and operator safety.

Flexible Configurations

Available in both 2-pole and 4-pole versions, with or without the mirror contact, the AZEV400 allows design flexibility for 1-phase and 3-phase systems.
